TidyBox is a macOS file auto-organization application that runs entirely on your device. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
TidyBox does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Specifically:
TidyBox stores the following data locally on your Mac only:
This data never leaves your device and is stored within the app’s container.
TidyBox accesses files and directories that you explicitly select through the system file picker. It uses macOS Security-Scoped Bookmarks to maintain access to these directories across app restarts. TidyBox does not access any files or directories that you have not explicitly granted permission to.
TidyBox does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs.
TidyBox does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
TidyBox automatically moves, renames, copies, and deletes files based on rules configured by the user. While TidyBox provides an undo feature for file operations, we are not liable for any data loss, corruption, or damage resulting from file operations performed by the application. Users are responsible for reviewing their rules and maintaining backups of important files.
TidyBox is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The developer does not guarantee that the application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of defects.
The developer reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of TidyBox after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
The developer may discontinue or suspend the development, distribution, or support of TidyBox at any time without prior notice. The developer is not obligated to provide updates, bug fixes, or technical support.
